용어 설명

✅ CPI는 Cost Per Install의 약자로, 앱 마케팅에서 주로 사용하는 용어로 앱 설치 당 비용을 말해요. 채널에서의 광고 송출을 통해 설치 된 숫자를 파악하고, 사용 된 광고 비용을 나누어 계산하는 편이에요. 과거 보상형(리워드) 마케팅의 일종인 앱 설치에 따른 리워드를 부여하는 형태에 CPI라는 단어가 사용되었지만 실효성의 문제로 많이 사라지고, 최근에는 캠페인 집행 후 비용 대비 앱설치당 단가를 뜻하는 추세에요.

계산법

✔ (캠페인 비용 / 앱 다운로드 수) = CPI

예시) 마케팅 담당자 - 대표님! 총 CPI는 약 2930원입니다. A 캠페인과 B 캠페인을 소재 테스트성으로 봤는데, A 캠페인의 경우 광고 소진 3,200,000원 설치 수는 1,000명이고 설치 CPI가 3,200원, B 캠페인은 광고 소진 비용 1.200,000원 중 500명이 설치해 CPI가 2,400원으로 집계됐습니다. B 캠페인으로 확정하고 진행 해보시는 것은 어떨까요?

🎓 예전에는 NCPI라는 용어도 있었어요.

💴 CPI는 국내 기준 약 4천원(3$)부터 1만5천원(12$)까지 앱 카테고리 별로 상이한 편이에요. 여기에 사용 된 플랫폼이 IOS인지 AOS인지에 따라 2배 가까이 차이가 나기도 합니다(일반적으로 IOS가 더 높은 편). ASO(앱스토어 최적화) 등이 함께 집행되었거나, 집행하는 광고 채널과 소재 등 실력 차이가 큰 편이라 평균 지표는 큰 의미가 없는 편이에요.
